Nice stay, had just what I needed to sleep in before exploring the city for a couple of days. Bus ride into town just a couple steps out the door. Only odd thing was having to call a number to be let into the building but it worked out so can't complain especially since I made this pick with all the reviews in mind.
⭐⭐⭐½ Comfortable Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks I stayed at Murrayfield Guest House while visiting Edinburgh and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is great close to public transport and within walking distance of Murrayfield Stadium. The room was cleanish and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. However, there were a few small issues that kept it from being a full 4 stars. The check-in process felt a bit impersonal, and the room could use a little updating. Noise from the street was also noticeable at times. As I arrived, I was told my room was not ready despite making the checking time for 1pm. Overall, it’s a good value option however slightly expensive for what you’re paying for but for a short stay in Edinburgh it’s better if you’re travelling solo, and only for one or two night’s. comfortable and convenient, just not quite exceptional.
im not sure where all these negative reviewers stayed but it wasn't the same place as us lol we have stayed here the past few days, the rooms are lovely, they are kept very nice and modern with t.v and hair dryer and it was spotless (but i would recommend better pillows and duvets). the staff are lovely and most helpful , true they weren't always around but it didn't overly matter and the price was ideal! the location is perfect as it is just 10 minutes on the bus to the city center meaning we saved a fortune on parking as we left it parked at the hotel for the whole duration of our trip! the noise is very minimal (no outside noise just inside rarely but can't be helped!) i would defiantly stay here again!
It was lovely being there. Nice cozy room and worth the price.
The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, we never did see a staff member had to call to check in but it is reasonable priced and more than adequate for a night's stay
It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We had 2 rooms for 4 uni students. It was a cheap price for Edinburgh and only a short bus trip ( costing £1.90) away from Princess Street. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I definitely would stay here again.
There was no one there apart from the cleaner when we arrived so we had to call them up. On the phone the lady was very nice and allowed us to check in early around 10.30 The hotel was cheap and quiet which is what we wanted. There's a kettle and TV in the room and the room was clean. Only down side was the shower which was a bit dirty but all in all pretty good.
Nice single room in a very nice building and it's situated in a quiet area on Corstorphine Road with off street parking. The bed in the room was very comfy and a great 3 nights sleep was had. Murrayfield Park Guest House is only a short distance to Edinburgh's main shopping venue Princes Street. The bus service is really good. Haste ye back
